Founder & General Ophthalmologist

Dr. Jorge S. Camacho

 

Dr. Jorge S. Camacho founded South Florida Eye Institute in 1976.  He has been serving Broward County over forty years.

 

Dr. Camacho earned his Bachelors of Science and Medical degree from the Facultad de Medicina de Trujillo.  He attended Harvard Medical School, and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.  In addition, he was also an instructor at the Truman Medical Center in 1975.
